Hurst Lending was founded in 2006 as Moneysafe, a full-service mortgage lending company. After adding several specialty lending divisions and an insurance brokerage, the company changed its name in 2014 to Hurst Lending & Insurance to better communicate its full range of services.
Programs Built by Investors, For Investors
At Hurst Lending, we are not just lenders, we are investors with personal portfolios of residential, apartment, and retail properties. As investors, my partner and I are uniquely aware of industry challenges and have built proprietary programs using our own money and lender relationships to help other investors break into and navigate the market. Our mortgage company and investment fund provide us with lending flexibility that traditional lenders cannot compete with. This flexibility allows us to create proprietary programs for our clients that we wished were available when we began our portfolios, like our residential bridge loan and investor line of credit programs. Our services go beyond that of a typical lender because we provide advice and suggestions on how investors can succeed in investment real estate. We use our experience managing portfolios to assist current and aspiring investors with securing the best leverage options for their portfolios. We know one-size-fits-all lending standards rarely work for all qualified investors, so we offer a wide variety of conventional and non-traditional loan programs.

Mortgage Lending and Niche Loans
We offer rates well below national averages in most cases, and while we offer great rates and personal service on conventional loans, our special expertise is in meeting unique lending needs. If there is a situation that is creating a barrier to getting a loan, such as details about the property, a pending divorce, expat status, or other logistical challenges, we can usually find a solution. We do this by developing relationships with investors who have specific interests, and in some cases by lending our own funds.
Home & Auto Insurance
In 2013, Hurst added an insurance brokerage business, offering home and auto insurance from major providers. As an insurance broker, we work for you to find the best policy and rates for your needs, saving our customers an average of $450/year.
